    What is Hair Regrowth Treatment?

    Hair regrowth treatment are various methods and products, which is used to stimulate the growth of new hair in areas in a place where hair has thinned or been lost. These treatments are primarily used to overcome conditions like male pattern baldness, female pattern baldness, and several other forms of hair loss.

    Dr Shuai uses a combined medical and aesthetic approach for your hair regrowth treatments, includes:

    • Topical Treatments: These are applied directly to the scalp. The commonly used topical treatment is minoxidil, which is available over the counter.
    • Oral Medications: These medicines work by blocking the hormone, which are responsible for hair loss.
    • Laser Therapy: it involves the use of red light to stimulate hair growth. This can be done with devices that can be used at home.

    What does the Procedure involve?

    Topical Treatments (e.g., Minoxidil):

     Apply the solution directly to the scalp in the required areas.

    Follow the recommended usage instructions carefully, usually once or twice daily.

    Oral Medications (e.g., Finasteride):

    Consult a doctor for a prescription and dosage instructions.

    Take the medication as directed by your healthcare professionals, usually once a day.

    Laser Therapy:

     If receiving in-clinic treatments, a specialized laser device is used. The process takes around 20-30 minutes.

     If you are using a home device, follow the manufacturer’s instructions for careful usage.

    PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Therapy:

    A small amount of blood is taken from the patient.

    The blood is then processed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma.

    The concentrated plasma is injected into the scalp in the areas where treatment is required.
